What's Next?

I am not sure what my next step will be. I am thinking of doing some freelance work along with novel writing and working full time. Sounds like a full schedule doesn't it? I am trying to improve my writing and gather a following for myself. As an author you need a following. If no one knows you're out there how can your work be discovered? The statistics of self published authors have gone up drastically in the last few years with the opening of CreateSpace and Kindle's KDP. Anyone but anyone can now be a published author.

Just a tip. If you want to share an excerpt of your work do not use anymore than a hundred words or it is considered published work. A traditional publisher, if that is what you want, will not touch your work. This is just the tip of the day.
