Well, it's Valentines week and I am spending it the same as I have the last four years, seeing Fifty Shades (Freed) of Grey. Now, unless you have lived under a rock over the last four years you know who Christian Grey is. The movie was derived from fan fiction arising from Twilight written by E. L. James. Erin wrote this trilogy which seemed to be a winner out of the gate. These books, Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, all follow the story of a young college student, Anastasia Steele and an eccentric, self-made Millionaire, Christian Grey. ( #JamieDornan #DakotaJohnson #E.L.James, #FiftyShadesFreed, )
Again, if you have been left in the dark, these books are not your average and neither are the movies that followed them. The main character Christian Grey, grew up at a very young age and acquired emotional baggage gained from a drug abusing and lady of the night, mother. His mother was abused by her pimp and he was also abused by him leaving him with difficulties in any relationship. When he was discovered by the body of his mother, he was taken to a local emergency room where her was treated by his future adoptive mother. The Greys take him in and love and care for him through his childhood and his teen years until he meets Elena Lincoln who leads him into a different lifestyle. She teaches him the art of submission which turns into dominance. If that isn't enough to screw him up I don't know what is.
Anna Steele begins the story as an innocent and grows into a strong and sometimes, for lack of better words, a badass that goes after the nemesis of the story who threatens her newly married husband and his family. The climax has been released and will play for the next few weeks. If you have seen the other two films this is one better taking you through their globe trotting honeymoon, announcement of a birth, an engagement, a car chase, kidnapping, and some others you won't want to miss in the conclusion of the Fifty Shades of Grey Series. What will we all do for further Valentines Day movies? E.L. James I hear is working on other books but they are written from Christian's viewpoint. I would like to see the story take from some of the Characters lives such as Gail and Taylor, Mia and whoever she ends up with, Elliot and Anna's bestie. Who knows where that would go? At any rate you don't want to miss this climax.
